Just as the team were returning from the previous callout, they were were called about 2 walkers who were struggling with the cold and rain, although temperatures were warm compared to normal.
The team leader had a couple of phone conversations with them and with the aid of “phonefind” established they were well down the hill on the path to Wasdale. They recognised the path and were happy to continue without assistance.
Incident started at 04:53 and ended at 09:35 making 4.7 hrs in total. There was 1 Wasdale team member involved and the incident occured at NY211076. Total rescuer hours: 4.7
