James, Phoebe and Ethan raising funds for WMRT

Congratulations to James, Phoebe and Ethan who on 20 August 2020 completed their challenge to walk, run or cycle 500 miles over the summer holidays, whilst raising money for our team. John Fletcher Running to Raise Funds

This time next week one of our team members will have set off running from Pooley Bridge in the northern Lake District back to Wasdale, attempting to complete the Joss Naylor Lakeland Challenge. The Length of Britain for WMRT

This week the team had a visit from Gill Mackay, who cycled from Lands End to John O’Groats and raised funds for the team in the process. New base entered into the Local Authority Building Control Awards Scheme. 

Wasdale MRT’s new base has been entered into the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Awards Scheme. The good news is has reached the final, in two categories: Best Small Commercial Project and Best Public Service Building. Cotswold Outdoors donates reusable bottles

Wasdale MRT has taken the decision to move away from single use plastic water bottles for environmental and cost implications. Huge thanks to Cotswold Outdoors for supplying all team members will a reusable water bottle we will now be taking genuine tap water on the hills! Thank you to the communities of Drigg and Carlton whom invited us too their Gala today. Its a great opportunity to attend these type of events as we get to meet new people and answer questions to give a better understanding on what we do.
