Cumbria Police reported four male young walkers who were lost and stuck on icy ground on Scafell, they were meant to be on Scafell Pike. The MRT Team Leader made contact with the group and was able to talk them safely back down to their vehicle without requiring a team deployment onto the hill.
Incident started at 12:43 and ended at 14:13 making 1.5 hrs in total. There were 2 Wasdale team members involved and the incident occured at NY 2075 0667. Total rescuer hours: 3
