The team leader was alerted by Keswick MRT after a walker had taken a fall down a snow slope. It turned out he was able to walk and was heading to Styhead we stood by in case we were required and Keswick went to meet the party. As they arrived on scene and assessed the casualty it was decided to request the air support for evacuation so Helimed 63 was dispatched.
Incident started at 14:05 and ended at 15:53 making 1.8 hrs in total. There was 1 Wasdale team member involved and the incident occured at NY 218 083 (altitude 629 m). Total rescuer hours: 1.8
