We were called by police late last night about a wild camper who had not made contact with his girlfriend as expected. He had intending to camp in the Foxes tarn, Scafell area and walk out today, Monday, having a swim in Wastwater on the way. After a discussion with the police and his girlfriend, given that there was no mobile signal on much of his planned route the incident was closed without action.
Incident started at 23:22 and ended at 00:38 making 1.3 hrs in total. There was 1 Wasdale team member involved. Total rescuer hours: 1.3
