Sty Head – Tue 17th Oct 2017

The team alerted this morning after a group of walkers found a lone male exhausted by Sty Head stretcher box. Due to the location we passed this over to our Keswick colleagues who with assistance from Cockermouth brought him off the hill.

Lingmell Beck – Sat 7th Oct 2017

Scafell – Thu 5th Oct 2017

We were called by Police about reports of a walker who had collapsed and was no longer breathing on the summit of Scafell. Scafell Pike – Sat 30th Sep 2017

We were called by Police about 2 walkers who phoned the Woolpack Inn to say they were lost whilst walking on either Scafell Pike or Scafell. They phoned in around an hour later to say they’d met other walkers and no longer needed any assistance.

Millom – Sat 30th Sep 2017

Eskdale – Sat 23rd Sep 2017

We were called by NWAS about a walker who was reported to be unresponsive on the stepping stones at St Catherine’s Church in Boot, Eskdale. Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of Paramedics on scene he did not survive and are thoughts are with his family.
