We were called by Cumbria Police about 3 walkers who said they were lost on the descent from Scafell Pike. They didn’t respond to phonefinds or text messages, presumably out of signal. The police then received a message to say they were by a bridge and had found a path so with after discussion with the police, the incident was closed.
