We were contacted by Cumbria Police after 2 walkers were reported overdue. As the team leader was trying to make contact with the missing people, the informant contacted the police to say the overdue walkers has reported in to say they were safe and well having spent the night on the hill. Once the walkers contacted the team leader to say they were off the hill the job was closed.
Incident started at 05:14 and ended at 10:58 making 5.7 hrs in total.
