The team was called yesterday by Cumbria Police about one of a group of eight that had not been seen for a number of hours. The group had walked up to the deep pools near Lingcove Bridge to enjoy the warm weather. However, on the group’s return to their cars, one person was missing.
Thankfully as the Team Leader was gathering further information and travelling to meet the group, the missing group member arrived safe and well, and the team was stood down.
Incident started at 18:05 and ended at 19:36 making 1.5 hrs in total. There was 1 Wasdale team member involved and the incident occured at NY228041. Total rescuer hours: 1.5
