A call was received from Cumbria Police regarding two walkers who were concerned for their safety. The initial coordinates from the police call indicated a location around the Screes lakeshore. A local team member was tasked to investigate but no people requiring help could be found or seen. A short while later, a further call was received saying that other members of the public had helped the couple from their predicament and that MR help was no longer required. The team was then stood down. Our thanks to those that helped and prevented another callout.
