We were called by the Police about a party of 3 stuck on the Wasdale Screes in between the 2 boulder fields. One of the group had weakness / pain in the knees that had been aggravated by crossing over the big boulder field and could not make any more progress. She was helped down to our boat which took her and party over to the other, safer side of the lake. Incident closed 18:30. 16 Wasdale team members involved.
Incident started at 15:55 and ended at 18:30 making 2.6 hrs in total. There were 16 Wasdale team members involved and the incident occured at NY 1543 0474 (altitude 88 m). Total rescuer hours: 42
