Eskdale – Sun 27th Jun 2021

We were alerted by Cumbria police about a parascender who appeared to be in difficulties in Eskdale. Enquiries revealed that there was an organised event taking place and some participants may have been performing acrobatics. All were accounted for, safe and well, so no further action was taken.

Middle Fell – Mon 14th Sep 2020

We were called by police about a lady who was suffering with a Meniere’s Disease episode and was unable to walk any further. The team, together with help from Duddon and Furness team, stretchered the lady off the hill as gently as possible. Thanks again to Duddon and Furness team.
