We were called by Police about 2 walker who were caught out by the weather and become lost in the Broad Crag area. They were located with the help of Sarloc. Once team members got on scene they were given warm clothing then helped to walk back down to Wasdale Read more
We were called by NWAS, via our colleagues at Duddon team about a young girl who had fallen off a wall near the King George IV pub in Eskdale. Paramedics were already on scene and she was assessed by a team doctor. There was some concern about her possible injuries Read more

We were called by NWAS for a lady who had injured her ankle whilst descending Scafell Pike, finally coming to a stop just below the intake wall on Brown Tongue. She was examined on scene by a team doctor and then taken by stretcher down to the waiting ambulance.

We were called by Police about a walker who had slipped and injured their ankle in the Cat Cove area of Scafell and could no longer walk. The limb was splinted then she was evacuated by stretcher to Taw House farm, then went on to Hospital.

We were called by Police about a young lady on a DofE trip who had scalded her leg with hot water and was in significant pain. She was given pain relief and her wounds dressed before being evacuated to a waiting ambulance.
The team was called out to help a walker who was suffering from a significant heat related illness near Burnmoor Tarn. He was assessed by team members including a doctor and the coastguard helicopter from Prestwick was called to help evacuate him to hospital.
The team was called out to an incident on Kirkfell but stood down shortly afterwards.
The team was called out to assist a male who had an epileptic fit near to the corridor route. Ourselves and the Great North Air Ambulance attended. The male was treated and evacuated by the air ambulance.
