The team were called out by the police to respond to a male walker who had fallen and sustained lacerations to his head and an arm injury. He was one of a group of 8 walkers who had set off from Seathwaite at around 2am to climb Scafell Pike on the three peaks challenge. The information passed to the team included a partial grid reference and description that fitted Broad Crag better than Scafell Pike.
