The team received a call yesterday evening about a walker who had slipped and injured her ankle and back whilst descending Scafell Pike towards Seathwaite. Whilst incident number 67 was ongoing, a second casualty also presented themselves for help whilst on scene with a laceration to their foot. This was fortunately relatively minor and after applying a dressing they were able to walk out to the road.
The team received a call from Cumbria Police yesterday afternoon about someone who had jumped into the pools at Tongue Pot in Upper Eskdale and had suffered a dislocated shoulder.
