A call was received from Cumbria Police about two walkers who had become disoriented on their descent, turning towards Piers Gill rather than Wasdale at Lingmell Col.
The Team Leader managed to establish their exact location via Phonefind directed them to the correct path. Regular updates from Phonefind made this a ‘dot watching’ exercise back to the valley floor, after which the team was stood down and the log closed.
