The team was called around lunchtime for a young mountain biker who’d hurt themselves whilst cycling in the Lowther forest near the Cold Fell Road. The mountain biker was assessed by team members at the scene, then packaged for a carry up to the road. In view of the possible injuries Great North Air Ambulance also attended and took the biker to hospital.

Incident started at 12:49 and ended at 15:19 making 2.5 hrs in total. There were 16 Wasdale team members involved and the incident occured at NY 059 121 (altitude 244 m). Total rescuer hours: 40
