On Saturday afternoon the Team was asked by Cumbria Police to assist with a car stuck on Hardknott Pass due to ice. A small Team attended the incident and confirmed that the party were safe and well.
The Team assisted with an incident on Wasdale Screes.

The team responded with a Limited Callout to reports of 3 walkers who had become lost after summiting Scafell Pike. They were located in the area of Upper Eskdale and walked back down to the roadside by Wasdale Team Members before being driven back round to Wasdale to their car.

Team called by Police for two walkers who reported themselves disorientated within Mitredale Forest and in need of assistance. The team was called to help a group of three walkers lost descending Scafell Pike. Their location was determined using PhoneFind as below Esk Hause in Upper Eskdale. A group of team members made their way to the casualties’ location via Sty Head and escorted them back to Wasdale Head.
