Whilst the Lingmell incident was ongoing we were called by Police about 2 further walkers reported crag fast on the ledge above Broad Stand. The team was called to assist a walker who had taken a fall on the scree under Scafell East Buttress. With the help of Duddon and Furness Mountain Rescue Team, North West Air Ambulance from Blackpool and Rescue 199 from Prestwick the casualty was packaged and winched for transport to Hospital.
