Icy conditions beneath the East Buttress

East Buttress, Scafell – Sun 31st Jul 2016

We were called by Police about a walker who had become stuck on steep ground above the East Buttress of Scafell whilst descending towards Foxes Tarn. She was located and then given assistance to get back up to the top of Scafell with the aid of a rope.
