We were called by Police about a group of 5 walkers who were reported overdue from a trip up Scafell Pike. They were given more time to make their way off which they managed to do and we stood down.

We were called by Police about 2 walkers reported overdue from a trip up Scafell Pike. Whilst we were gathering details we got a phone call to say they were down, safe & well in the Woolpack in Eskdale, so we stood down.

The team was contacted after two members of a walking party hadn’t returned from a walk up Scafell Pike. Just as the team leader was about to make contact to gather further information the informant re-contacted to police to say the rest of the party has turned up.
We were called by Police about 4 younger walkers who were reported overdue from a trip up Scafell Pike. Whilst enquiries were being made they phoned in to say they were making their own way back to Wasdale Head in a taxi and we stood down.
Team called by Police about a walker who was reported to have difficulty breathing whilst descending Scafell Pike via Mickledore. Team called this afternoon for a walker who’d slipped whilst descending from Scafell Pike summit towards Broad Crag Col and injured their upper arm. The team was called this evening for a walker who’d slipped on damp stones on the Brown Tongue path injuring their ankle and unable to weight bear. The injury was assessed on scene, splinted and then the casualty was carried down to Brackenclose. Weather : Overcast
The team was called out to assist a walker who had broken her wrist on Scafell Pike, above Broad Crag Col. The team splinted the arm and helped her walk down to Wasdale Head.
