Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team were called out to assist a 77 year old man who was suffering from leg cramp and unable to walk. He was located on the top of Great Gable so, to avoid a protracted and uncomfortable stretcher ride, assistance from an air ambulance was requested. North Read more
Whist the team were descending the mountain with the casualty from the panic attack in Hollowstones one of our team members slipped on the wet path and landed awkwardly, badly injuring their wrist.
