The team was called out to assist two people who had become lost on the way down Scafell Pike. After a description of their location parties were sent to search the Eskdale side of Scafell Pike. Photographs that the casualties took and sent to us confirmed their location and the pair were successfully located and walked back to Wasdale.
Incident started at 16:09 and ended at 22:40 making 6.5 hrs in total. There were 12 Wasdale team members involved and the incident occured at NY 218 067 (altitude 714 m). Total rescuer hours: 78
