Incidents – Wasdale Mountain Rescue

Great Gable – Thu 29th Aug 2019

Team called by Police about a group of 3 walkers reporting themselves stuck whilst descending from Great Gable. With some help from PhoneFind their position was determined to be in the White Napes area. A small team then went on the fell to help escort them down.

Hollowstones, Scafell Pike – Mon 26th Aug 2019

We were called by Police about a walker who was struggling to make their own way down from Scafell Pike. An advance team met the walker and provided analgesia to improve their movement. Cross Walls, Wastwater – Mon 26th Aug 2019

We were called by Police about 2 walkers reported overdue from a trip up Scafell Pike. As we were gathering details we got a call to say they were down, safe & well and we stood down.

Wasdale Head – Sun 25th Aug 2019
