The team was called to assist a group struggling to descend Scafell Pike with an ill group member. The duty team leader provided some advice and they made their own way down.

We were called by Police about a young boy who had fallen whilst descending Scafell Pike and banged his head. The North West Air Ambulance also attended. In the end the by was carried the short distance up hill into the aircraft and taken to hospital.
We were tasked by Cumbria Police to assist a lady from the USA who had slipped on Scafell Pike. The Great North Air Ambulance tried to assist but the weather prevented them from landing. The lady was treated at the scene by the team and then carried from the mountain Read more…

Paged by Police to go to the rescue of a female walker, mid 50’s who had fallen above Hollowstones on the Scafell Pike path. The team was mobilised to go to her assistance. She was airlifted to Whitehaven hospital by Great north air Ambulance. Incident stood down at 3.50 p.m.
